Frequently asked questions about viewing
trips |
Question: How much notice do Profile Spain need
to arrange a dedicated trip?
|
Answer: Provided you telephone us between 9am
and 5pm Monday to Friday, we can arrange a viewing trip to commence
the following day. We would, however, prefer you to discuss and book
your visit, as far in advance as conveniently possible. Viewing trips
can be booked up to six months in advance. Dates/ availability and
prices can be found here.
|
Question: How does the visit work?
|
Answer: We guarantee that your trip will be on
a one-to-one basis. This means that each client/s will have the undivided
attention of one of our friendly and knowledgeable consultants, who
will also chauffeur you around the area. You will not be part of a
large coach group, wasting time seeing areas and properties that are
of no interest to you.
This means your entire trip is tailored to suit your requirements.....not
someone else.
|
Question: Where do we stay and eat whilst on a visit?
|
Answer: As guests of Profile Spain you will stay
in one of the best hotels the area has to offer (one twin or double
room) for 3 nights on a bed and breakfast basis, courtesy of Profile
Spain. During the daytime and evenings you will be taken to local restaurants.
Whilst in the company of our representative, all your food and beverages
will be included. During your four days stay you will be shown all
the properties in our brochure of interest to you, plus any others
not in our brochure. Your own personal sales consultant will also show
you all the areas and amenities available in each area, and anything
else that is of interest to you.
|
Question: What is the itinerary?
|
Answer: This varies as each trip is truly individual.
The itinerary is flexible to suit your requirements. Generally though
a visit will be conducted as follows: First Day: Arrive at Alicante
Airport. Meet PHI representative, taken to hotel. Discussion with representative
to answer any questions and confirm your property type preferences.
Inspection of area and properties, lunch at local restaurant, further
inspection of properties in afternoon. Evening dinner. Second Day:
Breakfast at hotel. Inspect area and properties. Lunch at local restaurant,
further inspection of properties and area. Evening dinner. Third Day:

Fourth Day: Breakfast at hotel. Depart for airport (if early flight),
or continuation of inspection of properties or discussions regarding
reservations and contracts, (if suitable property found).
|
Question: Do I have to go for 3 nights and 4 days?
|
Answer: No. We have flexible arrangements to
suit your personal circumstances, our inspection flights leave everyday
from most major UK airports. Our inspection trips are usually for 3
nights and 4 days, but can be condensed to 1 or 2 days provided it
is understood that a shorter trip may be quite tiring.
|
Question: Will we have enough time to see all of
the properties and areas?
|
Answer: Please do not concern yourself that you
may not have enough time to see all the properties and areas. It is
just as important for us, as it is you, that you are shown everything
to enable you to make an informed decision whether you wish to purchase
or not. You will have your very own personal consultant and car to
chauffeur you to all the properties, and are therefore in complete
control of your itinerary. See a particular property you like, just
ask our consultant to stop and show you the local facilities and attractions.
Don't like a particular area or property, simply carry on driving to
the next area or property, want to go back and look at a property again,
just ask.
|
Question: Can I view new properties and resale properties
on the same trip?
|
Answer: Yes. Our trips are tailored to your needs.
If you would like to view both, we can show you both. Please, however,
be aware of the requirements listed below.
|
Question: What finances do I need in place
to be able to buy a "New Build" property?
|
Answer: Intially a £2,000 deposit will
be paid and the property of your choice will be removed from the
market and the price fixed to safeguard against any price increases.
Approximately
30-40 days later you will be required to pay between 30% and 50%
of the purchase price. The amount will vary between 30% and 50% depending
upon the builder you decide to buy from. The balance is then paid
on
completion. On completion you will then have Spanish taxes and legal
fees to pay which will amount to a further 10% of the purchase price.
|

Approximately
30 days later you will be required to pay the balance. Resale completion
dates are usually 30 days after any agreement to purchase, though
in practice can be brought forward or extended slightly if agreeable
